Just had the worst experience installing Tumbleweed for the first time.

Went from fedora kde to tumbleweed because I was bored of fedora, thought it would be a similar experience since they're both rpm and known to be easy... no... I've spent the entire day troubleshooting problems I never had in fedora.

Some things i ran into, some were quick fixes, some were extremely annoying

- installing opensuse made my fedora ssd unfindable in the bios (i was dualbooting)

-opensuse defaulted into icewm instead of wayland every single time

-ProtonVPN isn't technically supported on opensuse, but after looking it up apparently it worked just fine. I tried for hours and couldn't get it, so i just installed it on flathub. Didn't want to do that originally because of the permissions and how I did it before on fedora but it's working okay now.

-Pausing a youtube video with my keyboard or headset would end up pausing for a second and then playing again. Had to install the plasma browser extension (didn't need to do this on fedora)

-steam games wouldn't run. Had to do a ton of random fix things when on fedora it was plug and play

Issues I still have:

-I still have some random bluetooth issue where the bluetooth constantly sounds choppy and cuts in and out. I switched over to my fedora install and the bluetooth works fine.

-entire PC freezes at random moments. I can continue to type and i hear any sound still, it just seems like the PC took a picture and leaves it on the picture for like 2-3 seconds
