So my car randomly only starts in neutral. It’s a Mazda 6. Eventually it won’t crank or start at all. I’ve had someone else take it the shop a few times. The neutral safety switch has replaced at least 2 times. I even took it to the dealership and they found nothing was wrong it. It’s so weird, after it’s been taken to the shop it’ll start normally for a period of time and then back to the original problem. I replaced my battery recently and was completely dead (it was only a year old🤦‍♂️). Now it’s starts normal but I’m scared it’s gonna happen again. Idk if a parasitic draw or what but this getting annoying so now I have the new battery disconnected for the time being. What could be the cause of this?
