2025 CX-5. Just purchased January 2026. Car was on lot since 06/2025. Salesman said do first servicing 6 months from purchase (so 07/2026).

We do predominantly city driving and short distances. When would be best to do first oil change/ service? I was planning to take it in this month (May).

I just was reading a book to my young child about safety testing in cars. In the book it talked about crash test dummies being used to simulate the crash. My child was just amazed that such a thing existed. Well…..we all know crash test dummies were a thing
