Experience with AFC urgent cares
I am a new grad but got an interview invite with them. Was curious to hear others experience especially since I know new grads are cautioned to stay away from urgent care

As a new grad PA, if I were to begin my career in psychiatry, would it typically make it more difficult to transition into another specialty within the next year or so, such as emergency medicine or neurosurgery?
I have only received the psych offer and at this point I feel like I need to accept. I am very interested in keeping my options open long term and wanted to better understand how that type of transition is generally viewed from a hiring perspective. I would really appreciate any insight you may have.
I’m a new grad who just received an offer for an outpatient psych position. I’m not crazy about psych but at this point I am a few months after graduation and am considering it but would like to hear from people with experience. I am being offered 135k + quarterly bonus (expected to earn after the first year) in a MCOL, a 4 day week with the option of doing one day from home after a couple months. They are only offering 3-4 weeks of onboarding before I start seeing my own patients, but they stated it will be a slow start w pt load increasing with time. This position is about an hour from me, so I will be doing a decent amount of driving. It sounds like a good position but want to hear from others
Edit: 3weeks PTO, $1000 CME, malpractice (no tail)
Its been a couple months after graduation and being that the market is very competitive right now was unable to get into a broad specialty like FM, UC or EM which was my goal but I was able to secure a job in psych. I am nervous about accepting since I know in a years time I will want to switch out. Will being in such a specialty make it hard to later get hired in those broader specialties? Or will I really forget that much in a years time?
