A few things I'm curious about:

  • What combo makes most sense to you: electrolytes + magnesium + potassium, electrolytes + creatine, or something else entirely?
  • Do you prefer powder, gummies, or gels: and why?
  • When do you take electrolytes: before, during, or after training?
  • What does every existing product get wrong?
  • What should be the ideal sodium level in an electrolyte?

Drop your honest take.

I'm building a nutrition brand from scratch specifically for hybrid athletes, people training for marathons, HYROX, Ironman, Devil Circuit, or just running and lifting at the same time.

Before we make a single product, I want real input from people who actually do this. Not surveys to validate what we already decided genuinely trying to understand what's missing, what's broken, and what you've had to hack together yourself.

Takes about 5 minutes. No sales funnel at the end :)

If you're someone who trains across multiple disciplines, I'd genuinely appreciate it. Happy to answer questions in the comments about what we're building.

I've been going back and forth on this and wanted to hear from people who train across multiple disciplines (running + cycling, triathlon, obstacle racing, etc.)

Like when you're deep into a long session or back to back training days are you reaching for gels to keep the engine running, or are you prioritising electrolytes to hold performance together?

My take is that most people underestimate electrolytes until they cramp up or hit a wall that carbs alone won't fix. But I know the gel crew will argue you can't push intensity without the fast fuel.

Drop your sport/training style and which one you'd pick if you could only have one. Curious if there's a clear winner or if it's totally context-dependent.
