For the last several years, there's been a (slightly belated) Asian New Year event in front of the Clarke Museum in Old Town on the first Saturday in May, with music, food, taiko drummers, lion-dances, etc. It's a really fun time.

Has anyone heard whether or not it's happening *this* year? I haven't seen any posters for an event, no paper lanterns have been hung up, nothing.

The HAPI website doesn't say anything about one this year, so it's likely not happening (or at least not when it usually happens), but does anyone know why that might be?
