So out of curiosity, i googled if it's possible for opposing/AI-controlled top clubs to reach financial ruin to the point where they have to sell top players in career mode.

Apparently it can happen with things like unexpected events or if the wages of their players get to high and they lack the silverware for it.

Has anyone ever experienced this and maybe even capitalized on it by buying some of their players?
