I’m going to be really honest, at first I was Team Bouldini but I didn’t follow the case. I just saw the small clips and what I now believe was pushed from his team. Until about a month ago, when I learnt that the SH claims were thrown out because she is a contractor and the laws don’t protect her. As a contractor in a male dominated industry this scared the hell out of me.

But online people celebrated it, calling it a win for women. What did women win by this being thrown out due to her being a contractor? She’s not even the only one taking him to court for his behaviour?

How can sex scenes be added to a script after she said no? And why is it Blake’s fault she didn’t want someone using her likeness to make those scenes as sexy as he wanted?

What did that baby bump interview even prove? Actors and actresses have to do a lot of interviews and they owe every single one of them a certain persona? How do women win with that public opinion?

I’m just sad, I’m sad at the women who are celebrating this. As a woman I see a lot of losses and a continued stereotype that women cannot speak up about men’s behaviour while in a position of power.
