Paulding County recorded 28.64% voter turnout with 3,472 ballots cast from 12,125 registered voters. Republicans dominated participation with 86.45% turnout of registered Republicans (2,674 ballots), while Democrats turned out at 16.87% (658 ballots)—a figure suggesting some non-registered or crossover voting. Libertarian participation was minimal at 40 ballots.

My take:
It will be interesting if these deeply religious, right wingers will be able to bring themselves to actually vote for the non-Christian brown guy but $$$ usually overcomes their morals so nothing will surprise me. The 28+% turnout wasn’t bad for a primary but I’m guessing that was driven by an unpopular school levy.
