This is Greed & Gouging… plain as day.

(This is an opinion piece. You may disagree.
That’s fine; feel free to state your opinion…. But let’s keep it civil please. Thanks.)

I know some people will argue this, but I feel compelled to share… IMHO this is Greed and Gouging at it’s most base level… It’s plain as day.

There is **NO** reasonable explanation as to why these things are priced this high, especially so soon after a typhoon… only supply / demand / greed.

I’m attaching photos of the current price, and what I paid in September of 2025. (And before you jump to a conclusion, the price listed is BEFORE the veteran discount is applied.)

Yes, I’m irritated; and calling HD out on this one. If you can, please try and provide an explanation. It should make for humorous reading.

Thanks.

(Note: this is my opinion; and why it’s flaired as “discussion”. Keep it civil please.)

I don’t mind people trying to make a reasonable profit and a living… but this artificial inflation has got to STOP.

In short, Guam is rapidly becoming an island where no one can afford to live here except military. Is this what GovGuam wants? Or are they so blinded by greed that they don’t care?

Insane…
