The Museum of Architecture and Patrimony in Paris, worth a visit !

So I went on a little trip around Paris about a week ago, and decided to visit this museum

The first section is dedicated to moldings/casts mostly of Roman and Gothic churches and cathedrals, with some fascinating miniature models. Then you take an elevator to the upper level : Modern Architecture. There are plenty of small sections each dedicated to an idea/principle/style of architecture :) I didn't have the time but there is also the gallery of decorated murals and stained glass. There was almost nobody in there despite it being right on the Trocadero which is full of tourists.

You can even get a nice view of the Eiffel Tower through the windows. Definitely recommend !

The town is well-known and quite touristy, but this building fascinates me. It's the first building I ever sketched even before I knew I wanted to be an architect !
