How can I make a bass that feels spatially similar to the bass in Yaego's "ill watch you burn us."

How can I make a bass that feels spatially similar to the bass in Yaego's "ill watch you burn us."

What I notice, especially in headphones, is that the bass that comes in around 0:20 does not feel completely centered. It almost sounds like I am in a room with it. The low end still has a lot of presence, but there is this spacious, almost environmental quality around it that I have not been able to reproduce. Is it mono compatible?. I’m wondering whether this comes mostly from the source sound itself or from a specific mixing technique.

So far, I’ve tried: phase offsets, which made it feel a little wider but caused issues, various mid-side adjustments, widening the higher frequencies. None of these really got the same effect. The closest I can describe it is that the bass feels like it has a room or space around it. If anyone can help guide me oward the right technique, I would really appreciate it. Thank you
