For context, he has been using a Honor 90 phone with 512 gb (he's only using 69gb LOL) and he's having some issues with wifi connectivity and general slowness of the phone.
My budgest is quite tight and I have managed to narrow it down to three phones. S25 Edge, S25 FE or Pixel 9 Pro XL.
I am looking for something that delievers better battery than his honor (battery itself doesnt matter that much when he is at work because he works as a guard and has 24 hours shifts so even if got the 17 pro max like me, it wouldn't last him the entire shift either way.
I am looking for the phone that will age the best because he doesn't really changes phones often.
From my own research, it's hard for me trust any exynos samsungs and on top of that I did managed to fiddle around with a s25 fe and I feel like it's 90% there compared to the S24 ultra I had, there are these hitches, for example when I pull down the control center I could clearly see it hitching once during the animation.
S25 Edge unfortunately I haven't been able to find in a shop to play with, I like the fact that its got the same soc as the normal S lineup but the 3900mAh worries me because the battery will get worn down faster having to plug it in more often and on top of that I am not even sure it would be a better battery than his current phone.
The Pixel 9 Pro XL is the only other phone I have been able to find in my budget that is big as his Honor 90 (he really doesn't want something like a normal s25 or s26).
Can anyone advice?
