[Question] Working on a Draconic sorcerer (10 level cap), wondering If I should consider other spells or multiclass.

the campaign will go from level 3 to 10 and I wanted to play draconic sorcerer, we are using 5.5 but it's important to notice that we ruled that twinned spell CAN be used on chromatic orb, and that's a big part of the build.

statwise I was think to go with STR 8, DEX 16, CON 14, INT 8, WIS 10, CHA 17.
Then, get the Tough feat for that +2 hp per level that becomes a +3 when you factor in the subclass.
The race is a Shadar-Kai, for evasion and so I can get Elven accuracy at level 4 and get CHA to 18, with innate sorcery I have basically perma advantage, so it stacks really really well.
Metamagic will be Twinned and Empowered.

Now, my real "problem"is that I dont think i'm optimizing well the levels from 7 to 10, because instead of listing every spell I think I'll take, here is the list of the only spells out of them I think I will use.
Level 0: Fire bolt, Sorcerous burst (if fire resistant enemy)

Level 1: Chromatic orb, Command, Shield, False life (mostly when I'm level 5+ just to use those level 1 slots)
Level 2: Scorching ray, Hold person, Tasha's mind whip (If not fighting persons)
Level 3: Fireball, Hypnotic pattern

Level 4: I'm not interested in any of the level 4 spells but wall of fire comes from the subclass and it's good to be fair
Level 5:Hold monster

So the idea is: Command, Hold person and Hypnotic pattern for control.
Shield and false life for survive ability (false life used only at levels 5/6+ when i dont need every levle 1 slot)
Chromatic orb (twinned), Scorching ray (twinned) and fireball, for damage, all 3 of which will probably be upcasted
which means that every round I'm either controlling or blasting, but I dont see any Level 4 or 5 spells that I honestly would prefer to a upcasted and twinned chromatic orb, Hold monster is OP so that's clear why I would take it but it;s the only spell I'm interested in, atleast I think.

So, the question is: should I multiclass? If levels 7 to 10 are just upcasts for me I can get the same results with another full caster multiclass, plus some spells I might be missing out on and subclass features. (I don't know yet what class to multiclass with if any)
I WOULD lose 4 max sorcery points, having 6 instead of 10 but that's fine with me, my metamagics are not that expensive and I can burn a couple low level slots if needed, I also wouldnt get the second set of metamagics but they come only at level 10 and I'm fine without, the REAL loss would be delaying the CHA 20 from the ASI at level 8 and getting it at level 10 instead (although this could be avoided if the multiclass was Sorcerer 8, something 2 instead of Sorcerer 6, something 4, IF it's worth it).

This is pretty much all, feel free to give feedbacks and recommendations.
