I’m not able to find a depth gauge mode on my Fenix 8. Seems silly if it wouldn’t be available. Any advice? Google doesn’t say anything and manual doesn’t explicitly say either yes or no.

I’ve been looking at picking up the M12 Surge, mainly for the quieter operation.

I just realized the outgoing model is already very old. Came out in 2019?

For those who have it:

• Would you still buy it today in 2026?
• Would you buy a surge again or instead go for the normal fuel M12?

Any rumors about next gen?
