Forgive my rambling in advance I'm a little tired rn. Also I might forget or mess up character names so forgive me in advance. So I've been curious about playing girl's side 1 for a while now ( I found out about it while watching a video essay on the western adaptation btw) and I've finally gotten the chance to.

First of all I want to thank the fan translators of this game. I can tell the labour of love that was poured into this game. It's really a shame when beautiful works can't be appreciated because of a language and no interest in a global release by the company, that's what fan trans are all about.

I went into this game as blind as I could so I didn't really expect a time management which I know is silly since I did know about the using three years to win over your love thing. I haven't played a lot of time management before except for Princess maker and 'a become prom queen and take your crush to the dance' from girlsgogames. Honestly I'm starting to think time management otome are more fun than regular visual novel otome ( however I'm aware my logic is probably flawed because I haven't played a lot of Japanese vns just western ones) It did take me a while to figure things out though, for example I didn't know that you were offered jobs based on how high your stats before I checked wiki so it took a while before I was given any job offers ( should've gone to cheerleading with fuji instead of art honestly).

In the end I met all of the visible capture targets except one ( I happened to see his name at a glance while on the wiki , I think it's akade? I wonder what kind of person he'll be) and only two out of the four female friends. I decided to not look at any serious walkthroughs to get a specific character and just go with the flow. However I leaned towards Hazuki ( because the boy from the church kinda looked like him) and didn't really find anybody else I was interested in dating ( until morimura , but I met him towards late 2nd yr , maybe I'll meet him earlier if I join gardening in the beginning) .

I would say that I think I did really good in my first playthrough, I managed to become the top scorer towards my 3rd year with the help of arisawa. I never got sick ( perhaps because I also considered resting after stress reaches 60+) However my athletic skill was typically below 60 sometimes reaching 10s , never participated in sports day either . My style and charm where like 60s to 100s. Even though I was focusing on Hazuki I already knew I wasn't going to end up getting with him ( Only joined coffee alucard in my 2nd year mood never seeming to go beyond 🙂) plus I was bad at his skinship for a while ( I didn't think to savescum for a while) , I noticed I had more successful skinships with mihara of kijyo, which was a shame because I wasn't interested in them ( besides I noticed early that Fuji liked kijyo so I kinds set him as off limits in my mind because to me she is best girl and deserves the world and it would hurt me if she became a rival. Side note could someone tell me if there's a rival connected to hazuki, thanks).He only started warming up to me in 2nd by that time it was too late. I was pretty good friends but both girls but I spent more time studying with Arisawa because of studying

So in the end I got the Tendo ending ( black haired), I anticipated it honestly, I couldn't help it , I genuinely wanted bro to succeed I couldn't help choosing good options. I knew if not him then Chiharu (especially since I got his message about wanting to ask my character out ) and then if neither then Arisawa's friend ending ( I just realised something, does the character on the other side of your save predict what ending you're leaning into?). So in the end no Hazuki, maybe next time yea, besides Tendo's not too bad looking either. I just didn't think I'd get a secret target.

One thing that I "hated" was when the game punished you for being capture target centered i.e threatening you with a bomb. I was pretty mad at this but then I realised It kinda makes sense if you treat then like humans, I'd be mad too someone was blowing you off. It still made me mad regardless cause it felt a little dramatic and then I hear it affects other targets oh nooo. So yea I had neutral to bad relationships with other male characters and only went on dates when they threaten to bomb me. ( I'm thinking of making friends with guys more now honestly). I also wished they showed stats at the end of the game like in princess maker, helping us know what we did and how much we did it so it could help with planning.

So yea in short I actually loved this game I have 1-3 currently the plan was to get one good ending and move on to try the rest but I think I might try to get more than just Hazuki's ending and actually explore what the game has to offer. I still want to talk about my experience with this other two when I played them because I just got the ending today so I just came on here to gush about it
