I have had a planted tank cycling for about 4 days now. I only have drift wood soil, gravel, and plants in there no animals. My Ammonia and Nitrite are high. Am I fine to let the tank keep doing its thing for another week or 2 and see how things develop as the plants start to grow or do I need a water change now?

have a planted tank that is in the process of cycling. I’m likely a couple weeks out from getting any shrimp. I’m doing my first water parameters test and for the life of me I can’t figure out how to read PH. Can someone help me out here? I know I want it to be between 7.0 and 7.8. Also how would I go about raising the pH
