My name is Mila.
On September 28th, 2025, my brother Matthew disappeared. He was forty-six years old. He went to his high school reunion at The Anchor Pub with his friends Logan, Mason, and one other person. The police found blood on the floor but no bodies. Case MP-2025-0897. They told me they were “pursuing all leads.” That was months ago.
Matthew was born on March 22, 1979 — the exact day the first *Resident Evil* game released. He used to joke that the series was his twin. He introduced me to it when I was ten. I still remember sitting on the floor next to him, terrified of the zombies while he laughed.
This was his favorite: *Resident Evil Code: Veronica*. I found the disc in his things. The last thing he touched before he vanished. The police said it was nothing. Just a game.
So I started recording. I told myself I was doing it for him.
---
At first, everything was normal. Claire waking up on Rockfort Island. The zombies. Meeting Steve Burnside. Then the subtitles flickered.
**“Mila?”**
Later, during Alfred Ashford’s unsettling laugh, they changed again.
**“He never left.”**
I told myself it was an old disc. Corrupted data. Glitches. But I kept playing.
The mirror came next. Instead of Claire’s reflection, a woman in white stared back at me. She looked up — straight through the screen — and I screamed.
Then Antarctica. The voice that wasn’t Alexia’s spoke directly to the camera.
**“Ah… a new plaything. You’ll be a welcoming addition.”**
I don’t remember the exact moment I was pulled in. Only the scream, the light, and waking up inside Claire Redfield’s body.
My real body was found slumped at my desk by my friends Ava, Emily, Michael, and Chloe. The camera kept recording. The TV turned itself back on.
Inside the game, I found Matthew. He was Chris. He told me the truth.
The group — Ava, Emily, Chloe, Michael, and Mason — had caused Chūnmîn Heiqiú’s death years ago and covered it up. Chūnmîn’s soul was trapped in the disc. She turned them into vessels. She wanted revenge.
Chūnmîn escaped the disc into the digital world. The game ended. But our story didn’t.
---
The police got involved. Detective Shara Chen led the task force. They analyzed the disc and accidentally helped Chūnmîn spread further.
Matthew and I chased her through *Resident Evil 2*, *3*, *4*, and *5*. She claimed Emily (in Jill), Ava (in Ada), and Michael (in Brian Irons). Chloe was saved when the police put her in a safe house with no electronics.
In *RE5*, Chūnmîn dragged us all into a corrupted *Friday Night Funkin’* world called **Mario Madness**.
---
We fought her on a nightmare rhythm stage. She had already broken and collared Ultra M (Horror Mario) as her pet. The battle was brutal. We used the Linear Launcher from *Code: Veronica* — it blew off Ultra M’s head. He survived, but scarred.
Chūnmîn opened a rift and escaped deeper into the FNF universe leaving us behind.
She is still out there.
Spreading.
Collecting.
And the game is far from over.
---
**Afterword (from Mila’s final recording)**
If you’re watching this… don’t play the disc. Don’t touch anything connected to it.
Chūnmîn is loose now. She has vessels. She has Ultra M. She has an entire digital world to play in.
We’re still trying to find a way to follow her. Pico is with us. The police are doing what they can for Chloe.
But if you hear a calm woman’s voice through your screen… if the subtitles say something they shouldn’t… if you see a woman in white watching you through the reflection…
Turn it off.
Unplug everything.
And run.
Because she’s still collecting.
And she’s getting bored.

**The End....**
