Does anyone know if Massive Tides Import Company is legit or not ? I applied for a remote data analyst position through Handshake and everything seemed legit until they offered me the position and said they’d be sending a check to purchase equipment like a laptop and printer. I checked with the California Secretary of State business search and they are on there but I’m not sure how much that means. They’re supposed to send the check tomorrow so I’ll see tomorrow if they want me to purchase everything through a specific website which is how the scam usually operates. I haven’t had to sign a W-2 or anything yet as far as officially getting onboarded with the company which is what makes me think it’s so strange. I also noticed the address they provided is for a residential house in Los Angeles which is also where it says they’re located on the California business website.

I’m upgrading from the Fluval Evo 13 to the waterbox 25 cube peninsula , I’m transferring over basically everything ( equipment, livestock , rock, biomedia, and possibly sand) my question is should I reuse sand or use new sand and if I do use new sand will it affect the transfer at all since the tank will surely be very cloudy for the first day or so. Any other tips are appreciated and is there anything I should look out for ? I’ve been in the hobby for nearly 10 years but have never done a tank transfer or upgrade.
