I think these are Amanita crenulata. I found them in a pine stand near a lake in the Piedmont region of Alabama, USA. I've harvested crenulata, percisina, and russuloides here in the past. I'm not as confident identifying this species, so I like to get identifier's opinions before anything happens with these.
