i put a foam matt down for kids toys over my engineered hardwood about a year ago and when i pulled it up yesterday found this. I think the moisture came from concrete beneath and the foam matt didn't let any moisture breath. I can put a cloth matt down and act like the dark spots don't exists but should i be worried about mold?
