Sorry if this is a bad place for this, I'm still new to reddit.
I just need a first car for just general A -> B purposes while I'm in college.
I'm mechanically inclined and know more than the average American about cars, but I still wouldn't say I'm extremely knowledgeable.
Ive found a 1998 Isuzu Amigo for 500 dollars.
This is what the listing reads:
"Won’t start Idk what’s wrong don’t ask Trans and clutch are good Ac and heat work New radiator New tires New brakes front and rear Clean title"
The car is very straight and super clean, rust free and very well kept.
I'm hoping out just needs an alternator or a starter or maybe even just a battery if I'm lucky.
But, Im not very well versed in this specific car or in Isuzus in general.
Is this a good deal? Are these cars known to suck? I've heard mostly positive things about the longevity of Isuzu, so I'm hopeful.
I've already got an appointment to see it tomorrow.
Any advice?
