Has anyone here stayed at Haven at Elgin, The Icon, Altitude, or honestly any student apartment around UH?

When you get an eviction notice for unpaid rent/balance and they give you a date to pay by, do they actually start the eviction process immediately after that date if you haven’t paid? Or is that date mostly there to pressure/scare you into paying before they actually file anything?

Just trying to understand how strict apartments usually are with these notices and what timelines people have experienced. Thanks!
