CS2 1% lows
I've tweaked my win 11 enough and finally found a combination of settings to make the game feel less heavier. But this lighter, less input laggy feel only lasts till I shoot a few bullets.
I have the lenovo loq 17irx10 laptop with rtx 5050 laptop gpu and i5 13450hx cpu and 16gb ram with 165hz rate.
Normally I get avg 220 fps in the range 150-280 and 1% fps 100 fps.
Then I ran WinHance app to debloat and do some tweaks.
Then I disabled low latency mode, vsync and gsync. In game fps max is set to 0 and reflex was set to on + boost. With all lowest settings except msaa (2x) and shadows (set to All). After that I opened afterburner and rivatuner and set the fps cap in rivatuner to 241.
Ingame fps cap doesn't work as smoothly as rivatuner's. It literally flattens out the frametime graph with rivatuner.
The game suddenly feels very smooth though not as smooth as CSGO. It feels very light kinda like csgo. Much better than the stock settings. I tried this in both offline and online servers. The avg fps stay around 220 but 1% jumps up to ~170 in the beginning and stays in the 150-190 fps range untill...
The problem -
As soon as I shoot a few bullets or even knife someone, the 1% tank back to ~100. The game starts feeling heavy. Mouse movement becomes input laggy again. The 1% slowly climb back up if there's no shooting going on in the server and the game becomes responsive again.
So everything is related to 1% lows.
Haa anyone else experienced the same ever? How do I stop the 1% drop when shooting? Or how do I make it climb back up faster? How do you all manage? I finally found the best settings for me but this is the only problem in the way.
