why do we have to turn down the radio to look for an address?
caught myself doing this today and it honestly makes zero sense. I was driving somewhere new, and the second I got close I instinctively reached over and turned the music way down just so I could "focus" on finding the house number.
my hearing has literally nothing to do with my eyesight lol. turning down spotify doesn't suddenly make my vision sharper. why is this such a universal thing? does our brain just get too overwhelmed trying to process loud noise and look for small details at the same time or what?
