This has made me think that God is evil
Basically I was reading the Epstein files and there was a case where this young girl on the Epstein Island said that Jesus made her feel safe, and Epstein and his buddies dressed her up as Jesus then raped and killed her. I don't understand why didn't god prevent this from happening it is so messed up.
The common argument I hear is "free will", but the problem with that is that God personally intervenes with problems in the old and new testament for example God helps Israel from the Egyptian army, in Daniel 3:25 He intervenes to save Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. In the Lion Den, God sends an angel to close the lions mouths, and much more. I am not trying to blasphame but God helped these people in all of these situations, but he couldn't help in another situation which was objectively far worse? This all just makes God seem like evil to me, anybody have a good response?
