Planning on having top surgery, the only people I can rely on is my mum to pick me up for recovery. However I haven't told her/ asked for her help yet (I haven't set a surgery date yet but aiming for oct/nov this year). My friends all moved ages away for uni. I'm unsure how to broach the subject with my mum as she had cancer 2 years ago and had her chest removed, eventhough top surgery is a different surgery I'm worried she'll be against it or agree to help me and bails day of what do I do if that happens? I think having someone to pick me up from surgery might be a requirement? Planning on going to pall mall uk.
