Hi guys, I’m currently re-reading the Last Wish and in the chapter "The Voice of reasons 5" when Geralt has a talk with Dandelion in the temple of Melitele about how the world has changed, he mentions that he has spend the last 2 months on this side of the Buina. Why does he say that? The Temple lies south of the Pontar so the Buina isn’t even the nearest big river and I don’t see much reasons for him to be north of the Buina anyway.
The only places I heard of from north the Buina are Blaviken (where he is banned), Kovir, and Tancarville (from Siles name).
My first thought was that maybe the story in Blaviken happened just before so he came from north the Buina, but they talk about the Striga and his injuries so Geralt must have come from Vizima.
Thanks in advance for any Witcher world expert that could help me and sorry that I can’t quote the exact sentences I’m talking about since my book is in German.
Edit: I hope my English is understandable, if not please mention it in the comments and I will delete the post.
