Nizoral has completely reduced my flared arms!

Hi guys,

I recently saw a post on here that suggested trying nizoral as essentially a body wash incase the eczema is fungal. I’ve never had a scrape or type of eczema diagnosis, just always been told and assumed it’s just an eczema flare so given steroids etc. Well I haven’t used steroids in almost 2 months, gave up because they were doing nothing on one of the worst flare ups of my life. I was desperate..so bought some nizoral and applied it to wet skin for 3-5 mins then washed it off. Start off slow, maybe 3 mins. It can burn the longer you keep it on as it contains an active (ketoconazole) that quite literally feels like it’s working when you put it on your skin. Really bizarre. Anyway, I’ve been doing this for the past 3 days and I kid you not I’ve seen a massive improvement in my skin. Ive got eczema on on my arms, neck, face and a bit on my chest and upper back too. My chest and upper back are completely clear and my neck arms and face are following suit. Worth a try! Sometimes it’s hard to tell if your eczema is fungal or bacterial driven. Mine had small red dots that were quite uniform and felt kinda prickly. Aswell as some folliculitis I had developed too. I usually just use zeroderm exclusively- turns out heavy occlusives feed yeast and fungus on the skin. So I’ve swapped to aveeno dermexa. My skin does feel slightly drier so I use a small amount of zeroderm on top to kinda seal it in. Anyway..sorry for the long winded post- just thought it might help someone!

Edit- should really have clarified its nizoral shampoo! Little pink and white bottle with 2% ketoconazole.
