I gave my kitten castor oil today. Less than teaspoon for sure. She hasn’t pooped in 3 days so I met a vet appointment but it isn’t until Saturday (couldn’t go sooner due to work). I let my mom talk me into giving her castor oil because she knows it’s considered a natural laxative. After giving it to her I decided to google if it was something people have used before for kittens (I know I’m stupid I should have googled before giving it to her) and it says it can be toxic. Now I’m scared. She still hasn’t popped but now I’m worried I’ve potentially made our situation worse….
