So I’ve only recently had a child support assessment done for my two girls (by the same father) my income for last tax year was only around $45000 and my ex had around the same income for that period due to being unemployed for half the year. So my CS payments only amount to about $2700 a year. He’s due to earn around $70-$80k this financial year and I know I’m going to have to do a reassessment. I have our girls around 85% of the time and the $230 a fortnight he (sometimes) pays doesn’t even cover half the cost of school/childcare for the month, let alone any other costs.

How difficult is it going to be getting a reassessment?
