I'm spinning a little bit trying to pick a new pair of fly fishing glasses, I run cocoons over my prescription lenses right now but they're just too heavy and awkward. I started looking and have narrowed it down based on trying things on to either the Smith hook set or the Costa blackfin pro. I love the way the blackfin pro fits on my face and feels, I especially love the nose guard and felt it was amazingly comfortable. I like the hook set fine, and it fits the bridge of my nose well, but just not as good as the costa. The Smith seems to have a little advantage in the lenses as the green brown mirror I've heard is great for sight fishing, whereas the Smith only has the green mirror that I believe it has a copper backing so I'm not sure if they're similar. I've also heard bad things about the quality of Costa so even though I like the fit a little better I'm hesitant to go with something that seems to not be that great equality. And lastly I have a slight prescription, and I've also heard that sometimes the prescription doesn't come in right and customer service, especially with Costa hasn't been great about fixing it. I'd love any feedback from people who have used these glasses or experiences in general between these two, I've done a lot of reading I know some of this has been covered already, but I'm getting bits and pieces and would like to get specific information on these two models, as I'm not interested in any of the others after trying on several different brands. Thanks in advance
