Hi everyone. Last Thursday, My house burned down. I lost my ferret (aspen) & my 1 year old cat, Miso. I’m having a hard time with the passing of my cat specifically. Aspen we know passed of smoke inhalation. Miso on the other hand was burned severely & taken to the nearby emergency vet where later that day we had to have her put down (my husband was there) because everything was so severe.

idk why i’m writing this, but I feel like I need to tell anyone. I feel horrible. I wish I could’ve done more. I’m beating myself up. Please be nice, I’m already a mess. She was cremated & we received her paw prints & ashes yesterday.
