Hi, I bought this ring, but now having second thoughts. She likes these type of multi-stone rings, and after some searching and referencing with the rings I know she liked in the past, I thought this is the one.

But now upon further looking, the fact that

1)center stone isn’t a lot taller than the side stones and
2)there is no gap between center stone and sides stones

kind of irritated me.

On the other hand, I really like how the stones are set, the setting in general, and how it looks in natural light.

Unfortunately I cannot return it as I had them set a loose stone. Should I

1. stick with this
2. try to alter it
   3 go for a new ring

Unfortunately I cannot ask her opinion because she wants this to be a surprise.
