I (23F) am exactly 2 weeks post op today and I’ve already hit 135° of flexion. I saw my PT yesterday and he was kinda shocked. He told me i’m all good to stop wearing my brace around my house and to sleep since i’ve already been walking without crutches since last week, and basically just told me to keep doing whatever i’ve been doing with at home stretching and stuff.

I’m glad i’m making progress, but i’m genuinely scared i’m gonna like snap my graft or something. I have a really high pain tolerance and i’m worried im not gonna really feel if im pushing something too far if that makes sense?

I got a patellar bone to bone graft and only had acl reconstruction, no meniscus

i had an appointment 3 days post op to have my bandages changed, they took off all the ACE wrap and pads and left the steristrips which i felt was normal, and also told me it was okay to just have it exposed like that and i was good to shower and get it wet and everything.

they did give me a little sock sleeve thing to put over my knee but they said it was just for appearance- anyway, i bled through the sock thing infront of them and they said it was fine, then i showered that night and my knee wouldn’t stop bleeding lol, and then i had pt the next day and the physical therapist was rly concerned about how much i was bleeding and sent me to urgent care, and then the UC doctor literally said she didn’t know what “normal” is supposed to look like and that she doesn’t even know how to put on/take off an acl brace?? and i was like ok awesome and she just re-wrapped me in pads and ace bandages and anyway im just a little worried about how it doesn’t seem like my incisions are fully healing bc they keep bleeding and although it is lighter now than a few days ago its still not light enough for me to not have padding over it yk? i did send a message to my surgeon on friday and he has not yet responded
