10-week evolution
Hello, I had surgery in February, it's been 10 weeks since my total thyroidectomy and lymph node dissection, and my scar looks like this. I need to know if you think it looks as it should at this point, or if it's healing slowly or badly. I've had problems with the silicone patches; they've caused a reaction and irritated the scar and surrounding area. I'm using a corticosteroid cream, and it's improving. Also, there's a slight depression/indentation on the dissected side, and I wanted to ask if anyone else has had this and if theirs has improved, or if, on the contrary, the depression has remained. I've heard about cosmetic treatments to fill the area, but I don't know if that's possible. It's still early days, and I'm waiting for my RAI (Reported Immediate Attention) results, but I'd like to hear other people's experiences. Thank you
