NUS second major in music

Hey guys, just got an offer from NUS and I was interested doing a second major in Music.

I truly enjoy playing the piano even though I am not so good at it so I was wondering if anyone here took or has taken a second major in music could give me some perspective on what to expect !

Hey all, just got offers from NUS BAIS and SMU CS but I am having a very hard time to decide as I rlly worked super hard to prepare for both interviews I did to get in.

SMU

pros:

CS gives me stronger foundations compared to BAIS

Undisputed best admissions office, much better than NUS/NTU

No to secure hall

Flexible schedule

Core curriculum is halved for CS students

cons:

Not globally recognised, as id love to work overseas in the future

Stricter grading system (Latin honours)

Research opportunities in Uresearch does not have as much as options as UROPS

Not sure if can do exchange easily

NUS BAIS

pros:

I really enjoy the business aspect of tech and how it is applied in different sectors

NUS name opens doors globally

Slightly more forgiving grading system

Much broader research opportunities

cons:

Weaker Technical base as the computing foundations is swapped for more applied modules (I do understand I can still take CS mods with my unrestricted electives)

Not sure how hard is it to secure hall

Further from home

Unsure on career opportunities, dk if the website is an accurate representation

What is important to me:

Being prepped for a career early on

Making friends

Semester or Winter exchange in China preferably

Doing research on the side (Multidisciplinary research, not just pure CS research)

Securing hall
