Hello everyone,

As the title says - I am interested in general surgery and fellowship in surgical oncology after that. However, I am interested in all kinds of cancer research when it has to do with organs in the abdomen and pelvis, be it gynecological cancers, urinary tract cancers or GI cancers. Would it be wise to apply for research positions in other areas than GI/ breast cancers etc? Would I be able to utilize a postdoc in another cancer area in a way that I could match to general surgery after that?
