Title pretty much sums it up. Ive been dealing with bad sinus pain most of my life (30F) and recently it's gotten much worse... Bad pressure headaches, pain in face and jaw, ringing in ears and sometimes blurry vision when standing up.
After a year of trying to advocate for myself I got a CT scan. The ENT called with the results and said there was some swelling in my sinuses, bht he cant really do anything for me besides continue to prescribe medicated nasal spray which I told him multiple times actually is quite painful to use, especially on the right side.
I pushed a bit for more answers and he admitted he's "more of an ear guy" and said he would refer me to someone who specializes in sinuses (which I thought he was?!).
Tonight I logged on to see that yhe CT scan report was uploaded, and obviously I'm not a doctor but things like sagging orbital floor kinda freak me out and seems a bit more serious than something I can just take nasal spray for, no?
Can anyone make sense of this and let me know if Im being dramatic or if this is actually something that needs to be resolved with more urgency than I've been met with so far? The wait times for healthcare here are abysmal but I want to know what I'm dealing with so I can advocate for myself properly.
