hey everyone, I am planning to visit China in August. I am under the impression that everywhere is hot and humid except high elevation places like Lijiang and Dali. Due to health reasons we are skipping high elevation places as well as places that aren’t close to hospitals.

are there places with tolerable climate within the August frame? we can do either in the beginning, middle, or end of August.

is Beijing better than say Chengdu or Xian or Shanghai in terms of climate. any suggestions? we will be traveling with 2 kids 7-10.
