Most people who turn the world upside down are by themselves.

HAVE THIS SKILL.

One of the things they do almost every day is reading. Reading can give you dreams. A hopeless person can be hopeful again.

There was a time in her life when she felt empty.

Jaina is remembering that day. It felt like I was drowning in the depths of the ocean. It felt like light didn’t want to come near me. It felt like I was alone and lonely at the same time. The world couldn’t hear me, and I was also unable to hear the world.

Jaina said it and closed her eyes in a dark room to process it. Now she starts feeling this amazing feeling of having a dream/goal and working on it. But suddenly, her brother John enters her room and switches the lights on.

Jaina shouted at him, “Ohh! No one can ever permit me to understand what I feel.”

You, John, I won’t spare you. Oh! How can I disturb an already mentally suffering person? Oh God, I am sorry,” John taunted Jaina.

Now Jaina is holding a paper ball to throw at him, but John has disappeared till now.

She starts remembering that day when I suddenly opened my quotes/article section and read 2–3 quotes. One gave me a feeling of calmness, one gave me an urge to observe my surroundings, and having a goal to work on.

After that, I freshened up and started my day, and the whole day was full of energy. It gave me an urge to read more.

That’s how it started, and now I am reading quotes every day and some pages of a book. I learned a lot of things in different areas of my life.

Oh, thank you, Universe!

It gave her a feeling that she could choose her thoughts — that she could become whatever she imagined.

Jaina didn’t try to force change at first, but slowly, reading became part of her mornings. She started reading something positive every day, and over time, she began to feel different — stronger, calmer, and more in control.

She slowly became more aware of her thoughts. She felt less overwhelmed. She started developing a stronger mindset. She felt quite confident growing within her.

Words are powerful.

They can break you. But they can also rebuild you.

So choose what you read carefully — because it shapes how you think, and how you think shapes your life.

SO, what is one thing you read recently that changed your perspective? Like how Jaina felt the emotional shift in her, do you also feel this till now?

You may have experienced this too. If not, then experiment today.

Read these quotes and observe how you feel:

Do not try to fix whatever comes in your life. Fix yourself in a such a way that whatever comes, you will be fine. — Sadhguru

Isn’t it fascinating how the universe knows each of us as individuals and makes separate plans for us?

GROWING NEEDS PATIENCE

Nature is a great teacher if you observe it. She teaches us how to wait. She teaches us how to work in coordination. She teaches us that every flower blooms in its own time, but it surely blooms one day.

If a flower or plant doesn’t bloom on time, it is used as compost to improve the base of nature’s life in the soil.

Likewise, when I grew plants in my garden and on my rooftop, it made me impatient to get my first harvest. But in this journey, I understood through Mother Nature that growth needs patience. It is mandatory.

Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. I am Sera, and for now, I am a gardener. Gardening is one of my dreams come true. Finally, after a few months, I got to start it. I started suddenly when I got a simple idea—or perhaps when I was creating a foundation for my procrastination.

I held onto that foundation and went into my garden, then to the rooftop, to dig up the soil. Because why should I just think, when I have the authority to start or end anything in my life? In the back of my head, the sentence “Just Start First” resonated.

So, while gardening, I correlated my life with these plants, flowers, and the scent they carry. I found that life is all about this.

Just as every flower blooms in its own time, they are constantly getting manure, making their base stronger, and staying rooted in the soil until they grow. When the season comes, their colors complement the environment, giving a sense of familiarity to the place.

Similarly, in our lives, we are doing hard work and smart work, trying every possibility to be the best version of ourselves. And when the day comes, it all pays off. That day feels like a flower that has taken its own time to spread its scent.

I want to be a flower or a plant that takes its own time to spread its essence and presence, which feels like a present (a gift).

Do you ever think, “What did I learn from nature?”

Do you feel special after knowing the truth of the relationship between you and the universe?

If there is something important that you have always wanted to start, just do this.

You know, Sree always wanted to begin her competitive exam preparation journey, but somehow she kept postponing it. She tried to start, but she wasn’t able to continue.

She wondered, “How can I stay consistent in my journey?” She watched many videos on how to become consistent, but she couldn’t find a proper way that worked for her.

She thought, “Even if I don’t feel like doing it someday, or the next day, how will I continue my preparation journey once I decide to be consistent?”

Then she came across a quote:

“Actions speak louder than words.”

Doesn’t it mean that we should simply try our unplanned ideas in our daily routine and see whether they work or not?

So, she realized that whenever she wrote poems, she felt like writing more and thinking deeply about them. She loves poetry, so she enjoys reading it too.

Then she understood that whatever we enjoy doing, our mind releases happy hormones, which makes us want to do it again.

Next time, after having breakfast, instead of overthinking about what to do next, she opened her diary and started writing. Even if it wasn’t a complete poem, she at least wrote parts or elements of one. She did it for about 20 minutes, depending on her interest at that time.

After finishing, she slowly arranged her drawers and then simply chose a subject to study without overthinking, because she told herself, “Anyway, I have to do it.”

So, after writing or reading poetry, she moved on to her studies. Because she completed two tasks in a row, it created a sense of productivity.

It brought happiness, calmness, and relaxation to her mind.

From the next day, she started following this routine with her studies.

It actually worked for her. After continuing it for a few days, she realized it had started becoming a habit.

Now, she consciously follows it and keeps improving her habits.

And you know, how do you overcome situations like this?

If you are facing something similar, just try it for one day. Don’t think about a whole month or even the next day.

Just focus on today.
