I was thinking of making a gyno appointment but I just wanted to see if this was a common experience or not.
Just a few days ago it was one year with my iud and I haven’t had any negative side effects other than the fact that my periods have yes become lighter but are a lot longer now. Obviously I know that it’s normal for irregularly for generally the first 6 months but since it’s been a year i’m starting to be a bit concerned. I feel like I mostly hear about periods becoming lighter and shorter not longer. My periods used to be very regular, medium/heavy but only lasted about 4 days. Now I am bleeding/spotting for around 15 days or more and it has become irregular. My period will go from starting with brown blood, to red/pink, back to brown, back to pink, etc until it’s basically just days of brown discharge. Also sometimes it will also stop and come back a few days later.
