I’m planning on moving to DC soon and I’m thinking of moving to one of the following neighborhoods. What are each of the neighborhoods like and what’s the living situation, cost, etc. in each?

Georgetown

Sheridan-Kalorama

Kalorama Triangle

Adams Morgan

Dupont Circle

Foggy Bottom

Downtown

U Street

West End

Logan Circle

Shaw

Penn Quarter

Chinatown

Judiciary Square

Mt Vernon

Truxton Circle

NoMa

Atlas/H Street

Capitol Hill

Southwest DC

Navy Yard

(Western) Kinsman Park

(Western) Barney Circle

(Southern) Columbia Heights

Basically anything between the parameters of Georgetown, Kalorama and Adams Morgan as the northwest barrier with southern Columbia Heights, U Street Corridor, Florida Ave and Benning Rd as the northern barrier and everything from there to the Potomac and Anacostia rivers.

The washingtondc subreddit is pretty liberal and from what I’ve seen here this place seems more conservative. Is that true? What exactly is the difference between this subreddit and that one?
