Hello, just received this beautiful 214a700 from grandpa old stuff and discovering the world of pressurised fuel (not sure of how we call that aha)

I already fired up two Swedish camping stove from optimus brand.

My problem here with the 214 is that when I pumping with the fuel valve close I got fuel coming out from the top of the generator.

I disassemble the fuel valve to chech a potential o ring or graphite thing to replace but I found a curious system, is there anybody to help me understand what's going on?
