Epilepsy Awareness Walk - June 13th
Hi all!!
The Epilepsy Foundation of New Jersey will be hosting an awareness walk in Cooper River in June and Camden County 4-H has rallied together to form a team and walk to support the cause! It’s something very dear to me as a lifelong 4-H member and volunteer who was recently diagnosed with epilepsy. Chances are you might even know someone who has epilepsy themselves, as 1 in 26 people will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. I’m sharing this to spread awareness of the walk and maybe help you consider joining our team or forming your own! You might also consider sending a donation to our team if you’re feeling generous! All donations will go toward the Epilepsy Foundation and benefit awareness and research to help people living with epilepsy 💜 If you have any questions, please ask. Many people know of epilepsy, but they don’t truly know what it’s like for people living with it. There are many different types of seizures, not just what you see on TV! Thank you for reading! (Anyone who registers to walk with our team will receive a free Camden County 4-H Epilepsy Awareness T-Shirt!)
