A fellow redditor was motivated to part with a custom, single lasted, 719 in walnut veg made to be light weight. They had ordered a half size down which didn't work out! We chatted about the boots at first and then found a couple more personal connections while closing on a price.
I'm very happy with the custom options, feeling, fit, lighter construction, and look. My job has me walking 8-13 miles a day, and as things get warmer these will be coming out just about every uncomfortably warm day. The other boots in my rotation are a Bronco Numzaan in the same size as the 719, and the Meanders in Houston Brown. Since these boots see a lot of weather and plenty of sun my conditioning and light waxing routine is a little more frequent than every 3 months. Boots are brushed every other day to keep the wear a little more even looking.
I'm just so happy with this trio. For my 4th I'm probably going for a custom build, but we'll see if work provides the means. I've got a mean urge for the Houston Green rough out.
