Hey! New to this whole thing and trying to save up to get my hands on something tangible, I’m looking to see where to start when it comes to getting a piece of armor, preferably somewhat custom fit, but that’s not a deal breaker. Looking for something articulate, easy to move in, and somewhat comfortable. This is NOT for anything HEMA related and doesn’t need to offer any real protection, purely for aesthetic purposes, looking for something fun I can wear out to larping events, ren faires, cons, nerd parties, or an extra fancy dnd game. I realize that when it comes to wearing armor, you need more than just pieces of metal, and something underneath that’s both aesthetically in line with the rest of the armor and practical for attachment purposes, so if anybody knows where to start, please point me in the right direction!
