Hi everyone,

I recently "rediscovered" my Lumix GX80 (GX85) in storage. I actually bought it back in 2019 but never really took the time to learn how to use it properly. I’m finally ready to change that and want to start documenting our family trips and vacations.

Currently, I have two lenses:

14-42mm (Standard Kit Lens)

20mm f/1.7 (The "Pancake" Prime)

My Goal:

I want to capture high-quality photos of my family and our travels. Nothing too professional—just solid "documentary-style" memories that look better than smartphone shots.

My Questions:

Is this setup sufficient to get started, or should I consider switching/upgrading right away?

I love the compactness of the GX80, so I’d prefer not to carry a massive setup. Is there a "must-have" travel lens I’m missing?

For those who use the GX80 for family shots, do you have any specific tips for a beginner?

I’m looking forward to your advice! Thanks in advance.
