Hands-free app for High B1+ ???

Hi, all!

I'm level 91 in Duolingo (Max) (Spanish, FWIW), and I've found it really helpful, but I'd really like something where I could do my embroidery or knitting at the same time, and thereby gain a couple several more hours on the weekend or any days off.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a truly hands free app that's really good?

Thanks!

I now have video calls with Lily, Lucy, and Eddy. Naturally, I wanted to ask Eddy about Junior's mother, but every time I said, "Dime sobre la mama de Junior," he said "cambiemos de tema" (let's change the subject). Then I asked him specifically about his son (not using Junior's name), and he said he didn't have a son. I pressed. He maintained stout denial. Hmmmmm........

Weirdly enough, it didn't save this conversation, but they don't always show immediately.

For the past couple of weeks, Duolingo has been making my iPhoen 12 mini super hot, so that I take the case off when I plan to use Duo for more than 20 minutes or so. Sometimes, Dulingo will crash/shut down at the end of a video call. Also, it drains my batter very quickly. It didn't used to do this nearly as much -- still got warm, still used resources -- but not like this. It's only Duolingo. Anyone else have this issue? I have not yet received the Spanish course update.

I try not to give true personal info on these, but it's kind of hard to think up false stuff on my feet. Sometimes it's just easier to talk. Does anyone know if these conversations are immediately deleted? Are they kept for a couple of days but data scraped in between? Anyone know anything about this? Maybe I'm a bit paranoid, but I'm a bit paranoid.

Recently -- in my opinion -- the calls with Lucy have gotten a bit redundant: movies, music, pets, vacation -- over and over. And breakfast. The calls with Lucy can be similar. Anyway, what I've done is decided what I want to talk about and gone right in with it! "Que tal?" she asks. I give my answer and then talk about recoloring a leather pillow I purchased, discussing installing flooring, a craft project I have recently begun, a show or documentary I've watched (or whatever). This then sets the subject and usually carries the call very well to the end. Occasionally, she'll just ignore it or say "let's change the topic," and I'll say, "Let's not change the topic" or whatever, but I can usually get it redirected back. Thought I'd mention it in case it's helpful!
