Hello, I'm moving from DC/Philly to Bedstuy at the end of the month. I'm a Black lesbian, in my 40s and I'm moving because my current job is expanding to NYC. (I'm in education consulting/leader development). I'm interested in being a productive, kind, and gracious neighbor. I've bookmarked many of the volunteer opportunities I've found already in this sub (thank you!!!) I have 7 lb "chiwoxie" dog who is my pride and joy. I would love to make friends and build community in Bedstuy. I love women's basketball, learning how to play the guitar/ukulele, nature, reading, arts and crafts, making nourishing meals, cocktails, films, art, etc. If you're up for hanging out and making a new friend because any of that resonates please feel free to DM me!
